Pros

Shiny new building. Onsite gym. Cool location.

Cons

No advancement. Pay is low and doesn't support the cost of living in the area. The benefits are lacking. Resistance to change is a huge issue. Many barking orders from Japan. No real company perks. Raises were dismal in 2018.

Pros

Kubota has worked hard at creating job opportunities and growth within the company. They have also worked at raising salaries to industry standards, and now give better annual bonuses. Great work/life balance. Hybrid working schedule, most departments work from home at least 3 days a week, if not more.

Cons

Loyalty (longevity at the company) is valued over actual work performance. Once you get hired, there are many departments where you can do no work or do a horrible job and there is no consequence. HR is very intrusive, negatively impacting departments by interfering in business related moves. HR is commonly not thought of as a resource or help by employees but instead somewhat of a threat and worry to deal with. I also feel that women are not promoted or put into management or higher positions. Predominantly male leadership.

Pros

Most of the company is great.

Cons

Workers are good people. The exception is the pay, and I'm told HR is the one that is chokeholding that. Nobody wants to stay here longer than 3 years because there is no real future salary-wise. This company could do so well if they were allowed to grow like a normal corporation. Instead we are forced to run "lean" and the employees are overworked and too stressed to a point where they realize it's not worth the pay. You know there is a problem when there is a consistent 20%+ pay bump just to leave the company.
