Salary is competitive, building is beautiful

Cons

Poor training, no support from management, company only cares about the bottom line. Too much turnover, doesn’t care about the residents’ quality of life. Company is growing too quickly, management is rude and unprofessional. I’ve worked for several Senior Living companies and this was by far the worst experience.

I can only speak about The Residence at Riverbend where I worked. Things may be better in different communities.

Pros

Residents were kind and thankful. Some coworkers very dedicated and hardworking. Wages and benefits were a big plus.

Cons

We were always short staffed. Employee turnover was worse than any place I've ever worked. Executive director has nothing but money on her mind. She doesn't care about residents or staff as long as beds are filled.
