If I could give a zero for all ratings, I would.
Management were utterly full of themselves and outright abusive - the CEO in particular. I was programming in older languages prior to working for these people, and wanted to work for them while also updating my skills. After some time of working for them, I asked for that opportunity. I was told flat out that I wasn't up to snuff to "bootstrap" my way to learning newer technologies etc. My gender seemed to be the problem.
To prove my resourcefullness and underscore my intelligence, learning and adapting skills, I had modified a wiki CRM to work as a form of ATS for their hiring process.
One of the then owners requested white papers on what I had created. I did all of that work, provided to him, and he proceeded to steal my work and put HIS name on it. I saw it on his desk one day. I was furious and apalled, but could not risk losing work at that time, so I had take it in silence.
They are a truly DISGUSTING self-important group of people.
The entire management team at the time treated me like "the help".
