Free lab testing, depending on your department you might not have to work weekends, your co-workers are typically very supportive and caring.

Cons

You will be paid like crap unless you move into a supervisory position or have a masters in something (like cytology). There is no rewarding hard work, everyone gets the same raise percentage: 2.7%... Not even enough to offset inflation.
