Pros

Great people work here - proud to work with the best phlebotomists, techs, CSSR's and drivers in the industry. I have a great team who work very hard and take their job seriously. I appreciate that they support patients and consider each one to be important. I appreciate their attention to details. I appreciate that my Manager allows me to run my own business by doing the right thing every day. Good benefits. Challenging work. Ability to move up the ladder has improved considerably in the last year for all levels, not just for managers who want to promote up. I've seen a lot of techs, PST's and lab aides move into higher roles over the last year. This has not happened in past years.

Cons

Employees sometimes have to work long hours. Patient service centers and lab departments sometimes run short due to staffing.

Pros

Flex hours, WFH if needed

Cons

A company on the downturn with big feast/famine business. They are losing contracts BIG TIME. Long hours, IT (contrary to another poster below) is probably about 3-5 years behind other companies and I am talking about simple MS Office functionality. The *JUST* released Office 2010 to its worldwide staff - and we're in 2015! Medical benefits really nothing great at all. A billion $$ company and they act like giving us medical benefits is doing us a favor. I was laid off without any performance review, without any warning. My so-called Manager called me into HR, read me a ONE SENTENCE prepared speech claiming that it was a "re-org", turned the discussion over to the HR person and hung up the phone.
