      solid benefit package. potential to earn good commissions, large company so easy to transfer anywhere

      Cons

      lacks a stong power of communication. Too much red tape much like the government, is impossible to get many important things done. Puts growth second to the bottom line and stockholder opinios

      Pros

      LabCorp has a lot of vacation time for employees (18 days to start and 6 holidays). Also, medical insurance is cheaper than most companies.

      Cons

      It's a large company (26,000 employees), so upper management may see entire departments as $$ to be saved when it comes to layoffs. So sometimes you feel like just another number.

      Pros

      The benefits are great, but that's about it.

      Cons

      The Dallas site is like office space. The management is ineffective, and the folks who do mediocre work are promoted. The superstars are forced to stay put, because the company does not have the resources or ability to replace them. The clinic staff are treated like dogs, and have no way to plan any family time because schedules are never available more than a week in advance. Overtime is not allowed, so salaried non-managers are expected to work 60 hours per week to take up the slack. They have some STUPID idiots in management positions, and some smart ones with no backbone. The environment is perfect for a workaholic schizophrenics. The more paranoid and distrusting you are of others... the better. That skill will serve you well there.
