Pros

great atmosphere, lots of room for growth and advancement, amazing benefits (if you get hired), decent pay based on experience, leads willing to teach, good workforce camaraderie

Cons

as I said above, if you get hired on. The intern/temp positions seem to hang onto you indefinitely, in that given position, as long as possible . Still waiting to be hired on full-time. I've been here less than a year and I'm still an intern as most internships elsewhere don't exceed a 90-day probationary period. I hear they have an intern over in engineering who's been an intern for 2-years and he's apparently

Pros

Every company has its issues but the pros clearly outweigh the cons at Laitram: 1. Great culture 2. Compensation system and incentives that awards individual performance 3. Benefits like no other in the area: a. Exceptional and affordable medical plan b. On-site health and fitness centers with nurse practitioners, registered dietitian and trainers c. Outstanding PTO (4/5 weeks) depending on tenure and starts from day 1 d. No cost STD (100% salary for 6 months), LTD and life insurance

Cons

As with any company, few individual bad apples but for the most part the company tries to weed those folks out but not always when it should.
