Amazing floor staff and direct managers

The patients. Solid coworkers, relatively safe de-escalation techniques Orientation provides you with a solid foundation if you don't have a lot of mental health experience

Cons

Upper management is just messy. And the pay is unfair. People with way less experience and education are making way more than those with experience. And the raises are nothing

Getting a paycheck every two weeks

Cons

Nursing "leadership" is either young/inexperienced or aren't educated beyond an associate's degree. Severely understaffed. Patients are constantly being restrained and put into holds with nurses and BHAs getting injured all the time. Upper management out of touch and aren't responsive to staff needs unless they are criticizing them. No clinical ladder. Below industry pay compared to other hospitals.
