      bad management

      Pros

      Good people, flexible time, some teleworking, good benefits, bonus based on performance and company success.

      Cons

      Hard to move up. Change in management happens often. Long, long hours and meetings at off core hours. Not enough diversity in some departments leaning to a particular minority group. Heavy outsourcing to India. Management blame others for their failures. Does not promote enough from within the company. Hire relatives to make some people happy when contractors that have been there a very long time do not get hired.

      Pros

      L+G used to be a great place to work but since the Toshiba acquisition and then the IPO, its gone downhill fast. There are still good folks that work there but they are being squeezed for sure.

      Cons

      The level of panic at a management level around making the numbers first for Toshiba and then following the IPO has led the leadership team to try to manage via fear and intimidation. You will also increase your odds of promotion if you do the same (although there are some good folks in management). The culture has moved to more of a high-conflict culture and innovation has been stifled because mistakes - real or perceived - are simply not tolerated.

      Pros

      The people I work with are nice and care about the product. They want to do good and work very hard, night and days

      Cons

      Leadership is very bad. They do not care about their employees. They only promote their favorites. You are not allowed to work from him unless you are a leader or liked by managers. All process is very slow. The human resource department is not a neutral party they only do what company leaders want. No one for employees to talk to. The environment is not good, no seats for everyone, have to share very small cubicle.
