Pros

Work at Home. But I prefer to say there is no Pros at all!

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. Nobody treats you as an existence. Most employees leave within 2-3 months due to the terrible feelings from working for Languageline. This company only needs happy slaves to make money for them. No paid sick day, no holiday, no future or hope. The funny thing is you use your own money to pay for sick day or vacation, but you need the management to approve your "request". If the hard work (Nonstop Calls during work shifts) makes you sick more than 40 hours, they will warn you. You have no right at all. The mad clients could simply make complains about you without reason. But there is no way for you to complain about the clients or the manager. The clients don't know the language, but they have the right to say you interpreted the word wrong. It's shame to see a company like Languageline could be existed on the earth for such long time! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SWEATSHOP!!!

Pros

Work from home....no commuting...no lunch expenditures, you do not have to deal with unfriendly co workers, you can wear whatever your heart desires, flexible schedules, you can have weekends off. 401k for part time employees too. and medical insurance for full time employees

Cons

Low wages, poor communication between management and employees now with the upcoming changes who knows what will happen, they will now require video interpreting sad for those of us who are happy without having to see peoples faces...back to back call no getting a chance to breathe.
