Pros

Shutterfly coupons Company sales meetings People that genuinely care

Cons

Toxic work environment after Shutterfly acquisition which contributed to huge amount of stress and mental health difficulties. Unrealistic expectations - schools want fast, easy, accurate instead we give them more work and customer service is non existent yet as a sales professional you are the face of the problems and the solutions which worked in the past are gone. Sales team was very car sales man like, scripted sales pitches and no room for being yourself. Cookie cutter sales which is similar to the product that they are selling that has no wiggle room for expression or individuality. Bullying and manipulating tactics of older more experienced managers that would ask to meet at local coffee shops away from office and propose ‘deals’ to help them get out of sticky situations by offering to take on work loads which you would be paid for it discreetly over a period of time so that nobody would notice. . All very sneaky and shady stuff!

Pros

A great way to learn or to enhance photography skills that you can build upon You can participate in various photography opportunities in addition to underclass work It's a seasonal position, which gives you a lot of personal time to handle personal things, plan vacations and recover from your work They provide all the equipment You work with many different schools in the territory you are assigned to which ads variety You get the opportunity to work with a diversified group of co-workers, as well as independently You are paid for work time and travel to and from schools, expenses and/or mileage

Cons

Training is good, but there's a lot of holes in the training, and new photographers are sent out too soon, Weekly schedules differ greatly week to week during the peak photography seasons, which makes scheduling other priorities challenging, Traveling can get tedious, and there is a lot of wear and tear on your vehicle, They should increase base pay, performance bonuses, to attract and retain career-minded individuals

Pros

Photography experience with nice schools

Cons

Communication with a rude office that doesn't plan well or honestly compensate for all the hours worked Week after week of irregular hours, canceled work days and possible Covid exposures. Disrespectful supervisors who will text you after hours and wake you up with stupid messages because they are not good at their jobs. They are one of the worst working experiences I have ever had with inadequate money for the work and little appreciation. Every school I went to said I was the best representative and photographer they had ever experienced with this company and yet I am fighting for my 14 cents a mile reimbursement.
