Pros

Taking pictures, playing with children, resolving customers' complaints one-on-one instead of having to call your manager over for everything, good coworkers, no commission

Cons

Too much emphasis on sales (but if you like sales, this will be perfect for you), not enough emphasis on good photography, ridiculous coupon rules, sometimes cooperate would give us new rules that made customers really angry, always understaffed to maximize profits, no commission

Pros

ESOP no supervisor looking over your shoulder

Cons

100% commission pay some 10 plus days with only making about $25.00 for the day no time to be creative and 10 min to shoot a family of four of more was not enough time

Pros

If you work in a good studio, you will have great coworkers and a manager to lean on and work with. Also, the kids can be great and knowing that you have helped memories come alive can be VERY satisfactory.

Cons

The pay is so-so. It's not bad to start out, but the raises are a joke and happen only once a year. Photographers are the ones making the money and should be paid for the work they do. Also, the company has HIGH expectations. The 10 minute photography sessions can be impossible if the group is too large or if the people want alot. Small children and babies may not just do as you want and a that tiny bit of time simply makes taking your time impossible. The coupons do not help the saler get the money the company wants. I know Lifetouch wants to bring people in, but simple changes tothe coupons could make this possible. I know people who have walked in, had pictures taken and just gotten a free sheet.
