      Pros

      Lincoln Financial Group (LFG) is a fantastic company to work for. The pay is great for the market I'm in, but the benefits and work-life balance is incredible. The company contributes 10% of your salary to your 401(k) as long as you contribute 6% (including an end-of-year 4% contribution if you don't add a cent to it). The work from home benefit is also fantastic and provides a lot of flexibility to employees with sick children, health issues, and anything else really. In my experience, the managers are very compassionate and care about their employees as people. It truly is a great company.

      when it came to advancement opportunities/promotions, management picked their favorites, usually people under 40 and not ones that worked very hard, if you are fresh out of college, I encourage you to apply. you will be promoted to manager within 3 years

      This company is very shady and does not care about their employees. They do not force management to be ethical. They will cover up management mistakes and have their back over their employees. Do not get on their bad side or you WILL be fired. This is a very political place to work. You have to either keep your head down and fly under the radar or make friends in the right places in order to be successful. Do not challenge management or processes. The more you try to better yourself and further your career you will be knocked down. This company is very numbers driven. Definitely quantity over quality. Too much work to do in too little time.
