Pros

- Solid Product built on Salesforce

Cons

- Egotistical Executive Team - If you are not part of the extremely inner circle, you are at risk - Former CRO now GM is the only person who has experience selling and scaling a business and has been made a scapegoat and literally lost all of his confidence - Zero accountability and trust. Leaders will take full control of any decent sales cycle, discount the hell out of it, say whatever it takes to get a signature and then wonder why it doesn't work out in the end. - Implementation and customer success is not a priority - they losing deals faster than they close new ones and rubbing the market the wrong way. Lastly and please read this piece. This is a sinking ship. The team has seemingly run out of their funding. They have been talking about raising money for years and have not been able to. This is the second time they have had to let a large amount of dedicated employee go (via mass email). Do not fall victim to the once bright future of Litify that day has come and gone. These guys had a shot and senior leadership could not get out of their own way.

Pros

Remote work can be convenient. Some of the employees are wonderful people. Swag is cute.

Cons

There was a major shift once the company was bought out by a VC. There was a significant change to management; it was abrupt and not kind to leaders who had been there for years. Everyone is overworked, and is constantly being asked to pick up projects and responsibilities outside of their initial job scope. The most valued workers are the ones who make this job their life. "Unlimited PTO" becomes a scam when you have all of the same work waiting on your return, as no one has the bandwidth to assist. Because of the constant surprise layoffs (brutal after you spend so much time getting to know your kind co-workers) the remaining employees become cut-throat and speak poorly about their "competition" to their managers, who are looking for any way to become profitable and "trim the fat". They are starting to off-shore development work, which they would know won't work if they had kept any historical management. Overall, it feels like the only goal is to make more money for investors and the initial C-suite.

Pros

Great group of young SaaS professionals. Everyone under management is willing and eager to help.

Cons

Where to start. Zero leadership or middle management. 100% top down. The leadership team is very young and have no idea what they are doing. Many were just thrown into leadership roles with zero experience growing and leading teams, and hardly any experience scaling technology.
