Thank you for sharing your experience working at LogRhythm. It is important for individuals to voice their concerns and provide feedback on their workplace environment. We understand that you have both positive and negative aspects to highlight regarding your time at the company, specifically relating to the overall culture. It is disheartening to hear about instances where you didn’t agree with the CEO’s messaging and leadership style. It’s true that sometimes a CEO needs to be candid about what needs to improve to better serve our customers and employees. That being said, bullying and intimidation are unacceptable and have a detrimental impact on the work environment. Employees should feel valued, respected, and safe in their professional setting. Any inappropriate behavior should be brought to the attention of HR who will conduct an objective and impartial investigation into the allegations. You also mentioned that the CEO's leadership style appeared to be driven by insecurity, resulting in a culture of fear throughout the organization. In fact, the opposite is the case, LogRhythm encourages healthy dialogue and the open debate of ideas so we can better serve our customers and employees. Constructive contention and the encouragement of diverse perspectives are crucial for growth and success within a company. Our CEO is a leader who seeks out and values constructive feedback and creates space for healthy disagreement which contributes to our culture of continuous improvement. While you did mention some positive attributes of LogRhythm, such as competitive compensation packages and a talented workforce, it is evident that you were not satisfied with your experience at LogRhythm. Please be assured that creating a safe and inclusive work environment that promotes open communication, values diverse perspectives, and encourages constructive feedback is a priority. Your feedback serves as valuable input for the company to consider as LogRhythm focuses on building upon our high levels of employee engagement and fostering a positive and empowering atmosphere that allows individuals to grow both personally and professionally.

Pros

Rapid learning of a older product built on a lot of open source goods. Unlimited FTO (if people can cover you), remote ability (thanks COVID!), fair medical benefits.

Cons

At 1.5 yrs take what you learned and go to a startup that has money. This group struggles with long term vestment as its faster to move around and title grab. Caring and personable managers are driven out. Fun perks are gone, no 401k match, mandated reduced salaries, $0 equity grants, and a founder bailed after being sidelined. Support Ops focus: Wrong ticketing platform. The tools are supposed to help us be productive, not us constantly working around the tool. IT/IS team is a roadblock to get the right tools. Product licensing is a nightmare. Step up to the modern age of self service. Start utilizing true performance metrics. Closes are good, but move focus to weighted metrics and first call resolution. Support group struggles with KPIs.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to our team. We agree that LogRhythm is a great place to begin and build a career where you can get hands on experience with an exciting security platform as well as underlying technologies that allow for great long-term career growth. Like many companies, we were impacted by the start of COVID. At LogRhythm we aimed to move proactively and aggressively to protect the livelihoods of our entire team to ensure that we emerge from the global pandemic strong and well positioned to move ahead quickly. As such, we made the very difficult decision to take temporary salary reductions across the entire company. It only lasted 3 months and pay for the entire company was restored as quickly as possible. We appreciate and recognize the sacrifice made by every employee during the difficult time . We are proud of how everyone pulled through, and are humbled by the effort of many to drive forward as a team. To help us to continue to grow our efficiency and productivity, we’ve made a significant investment in our infrastructure. Some of these items include implementing a new telephony system for our Support team, a significant modernization of our SalesForce platform, as well as other software such as Power BI. Our journey to improve our technology is well underway and improving each quarter. KPI's are a critical tool for a business to understand how it is performing. Some KPI's are easy to measure, like sales bookings and closed cases, and other are harder to measure such as assisting on a customer case or contributing to a knowledge article. Earlier this year we enhanced our Support KPI's to include weighted metrics to capture some of these less tangible, but very important, activities that contribute to an employee's productivity. We will continue to evaluate these items as a team to ensure we are appropriately capturing the great work that is done with in our LogRhythm team. Thank you again for taking the time to provide your feedback.

Technical Support

Pros

They have some good ideas to try and invest in their employees. Free food, events, and other perks. The product itself is very powerful and good for many organizations

Cons

They are extremely disorganized. Technicians receive more tickets than they can handle and can't meet the promises made by the company to respond to their customers within the appropriate time frames. They have the feel of a start-up with how their processes are. No one has any idea what works and which changes they'll be making to fix these issues. People are hired on for roles that was not in the job description because of how chaotic it is. Employees have low morale, call in sick to avoid more tickets, and have no idea how to troubleshoot the product.

Our technical support team has done a great job over the years taking care of our customers. Any company growing at the rate we have will inevitably need to evolve processes with scale. We have been and will continue to improve and strengthen processes. We are also adding more resources and more experience to the team. I'm confident that all the enhancements will lead to an improved support team and an even better experience for our customers.
