Pros

The coworkers are great. It's a fun environment at times. The dress code is reasonable. It's a great environment for anyone that doesn't have a family at home to take care of as well.

Cons

Supervisors do not pay you any attention, they don't answer questions, training was very minimal, they don't give you any copies of anything you sign - such as the attendance policy that states it is subject to change at any time. It is on their share point system so you have no access to it to download it from home either. So if you get fired for attendance, you have no way to back up anything because they literally change it from day to day it seems. There is absolutely NO flexibility if you have a life outside of work. For instance, God forbid your child gets sick. Even with a doctor's note, you won't get an excused absence. There's no type of advancement because they have their favorites and that's just how it is.

Pros

Easy access to upper management and owners, who are onsite weekly if not daily. TMone does not have the bureaucratic red tape associated with most corporations, which makes positive changes to policy easier to accomplish. Salary and compensation are competitive with industry standards, and almost all promotions are internal. TMone is a fast moving and ever evolving company which makes every day exciting. I no longer stare at the clock counting down the minutes until 5...

Cons

Mid Level management staff is thin, and needs beefed up with talented individuals. Needs to offer 401k.

Pros

Most of the agents were decent to work with. The particular outbound group I worked with was a decent group and helped each other out.

Cons

There are A LOT of cons. No paid holidays until you hit your six month anniversary, no vacation until after six months, no sick time, no bereavement time unless you take vacation and even then your time is most likely denied because it wasn't requested two weeks in advance, supervisors act like they are far superior to the agents (who are doing the actual grunt work), base pay is 8.00 an hour, even though the pay is advertised as 10.50 an hour after you work 40 hours a week. If you work 39 hours a week, your pay is 8.00 an hour, not the 10.50 advertised. Training was horrendous. Lots of information on stuff that you will use maybe once or twice, but very little information and training on the programs used to access customer accounts. Once you hit the floor, you're on your own to try and muddle your way through the programs, which are complicated and don't always work properly. You're told to come in about 15 minutes early to set up your computers and get all your information pulled up so that you can be on the phones taking calls exactly at 8:00 (or your starting time). You don't get paid for the ten or fifteen minutes of work related stuff you need to do before making calls. The jobs are advertised as customer service agents. They are NOT customer service positions. They are sales agent positions because you are forced to sell services to people who call in regarding their high bills and if you don't make sales in certain areas, you're sent home. The rules keep changing at this place and promises are made and never kept. You're told to do things one way, then literally an hour later, you're told something different. The left hands and right hands don't communicate to each other. Promises are made regarding schedules, i.e. Monday through Friday, 8 - 5, and one Saturday a month. You end up working EVERY Saturday with a day off during the week if you're lucky. Then you're promised different hours, i.e. 7 - 4, but you wait and wait for that to be implemented and it never is.
