      Steady work schedule, unlimited sick time, fairly decent time off

      Cons

      Low salary, no raises, not alot of room to grow, no management training program, PTO caps at 18 or 19 days

      Pros

      This role within MICROS was a great starting point for someone straight out of college. They hired heavily out of the Hospitality Management field and provided a higher starting salary than most companies hiring for hospitality managers. The staff that I worked with, from colleagues to upper management, were great.

      Cons

      There starting salaries for someone who graduated within an IT/CIS field would be considered on the low end of competitive. The nature of the business required you to have a fairly in depth knowledge of both technology and hospitality operations. If you don't already have that knowledge, learning is "trial by fire" and at times can be frustrating. During high volume seasons, the work hours can be very long.

      Pros

      Great place to learn at a base level. You will learn several different software's and connection methods for clients. also get a base level knowledge of Microsoft SQL.

      Cons

      Hours were not great. Training for any position is sub par. No room for growth. Sub par pay as well.
