Pros

Nice people Work environment has a family atmosphere In general, good benefits.

Cons

Management in the Research Department needs training. They have no backbone , when problems arise they tend to blame the people under them. Not a great place to work if you are use to being respected. Most times the PhD Supervisors treat the interns, and coworkers like children. Here's the rub: Some of the Supervisors are the same age as the coworkers. Also, they have a tendency to hire only people from Rutgers. Which is weird. So, in summary: Nice place, weird people.

Pros

Great cause- it's work you can feel good about, and most everyone does. great benefits- even after cuts. supportive and professional co-workers reduce stress.

Cons

High workload- the attitude is get more done with less people, less time, less pay/benefit and don't question it, probably like many companies. There definitely is a threatened job environment right now and no-one's reassuring the general workers. NO transparency about ongoing issues, root causes of cuts, plans for the future, details of recent changes. Nothing- just weird political spin.
