Pros

Working for a big brand in NYC looks good on your resume, great benefits, most people are nice

Cons

Very cut-throat environment, lack of training and transparency, sink or swim environment, unsupportive management and supervisor, high turnover rate, quick to get rid of people instead of helping them succeed. You are also understaffed, so overtime and weekend work is a must. The absolute most toxic company I worked for in my career.

Pros

You will work with the most talent people in sports & entertainment. Solid PTO and 401K program.

Cons

Culture of fear...if you make a mistake you are done! Terrible communication from mgmt. No clue what to do about D&I. Awful system for promotions. Not progressive at all...bad parental leave, dated dress code, bad upward mobility. Awful handling of having their employees work from home during covid.

Pros

Great tech leadership within the team, the only reason I'd give 4 stars. Solid tech leads. I learned so much so fast. Amazing work coming out of my team. We did some very innovate things and were encouraged to use the latest technology. The CEO really cares about his employees. It's rare.

Cons

It's depressing for software developers. No one outside of our team understood what we were doing which only led them to believe we weren't doing well including senior leadership. Talent keeps leaving. You will never get promoted. I never saw a single developer promoted there, including myself despite my manager fighting for it. Antiquated HR can only make things happen once or twice a year and would rather let you go than pay you what the market says you're worth.
