Pros

The brands speak for themselves.

Cons

My manager is in over his head. Not used to complexity of work. Company has a million priorities but moves at the pace of a snail. Sometimes feels just as slimy.

Pros

The World’s Most Famous Arena is always relevant. The Knicks and Rangers are always relevant. The Garden provides an exciting (and chaotic) work environment that helps guide your understanding of what makes up a Teflon property in Sports/Entertainment. Access to events. Access to top-level clients. Access to a fairly decent amount of intelligent co-workers who utilize the cache of MSG to advance their positions both internally and externally. Experience working for premium entertainment property. Experience managing the pressure that comes with representing a property that “sells itself.” Boardroom Beers.

Cons

Ridiculously high turnover. New structures for entire divisions (including senior leadership) constantly. Tons of office drama / gossip fueled by a booze heavy scene that many chose to be a part of (guilty as charged). Lots of late nights if you’re on team sales and marketing side of the business. 82 home games + playoffs will test your fortitude. Not to mention if you get roped into handling the Liberty. Being in Penn Station everyday. Gross.

Pros

Decent benefits getting to go to concerts or games sometimes....not sure what else there is positive about it....found it to be a terrible place

Cons

Change in management, sexist environment, no women in leadership, stressful, new HR all the time, act lucky to work there
