Pros

A company who cares about their employees and the environment in which they work...sometimes to a deficit of the company's growth and expansion. Focused on growing the business.

Cons

A very conservative white male-dominated company with focus on diversity. Culture is driven by cheerleading and parties, and a set of values that the executives do not embody. The real issues around the product are hidden or disregarded, and sales reigns supreme.

Pros

Good work from home and flexible scheduling. Easy job that requires little effort

Cons

MasterControl has become a very top heavy organization that solely rewards those within the family and church circle. While the company is attempting to change it's direction, it's about 5 years late to the party. It's laughable how long it has taken this company to get close to (but can't seem to top) $100M in revenue. Not a single bit of diversity here - nothing but BYU graduates that will struggle to take this software company into a global marketplace. There will come a time the family grows tired of wasting money on this endeavor, outsource all development overseas, and seriously downsize. Go work somewhere else. "Leadership" is an absolute joke. Everyone just sucks up to the CEO to keep their high paying jobs as long as they can. CEO takes more vacation time than anyone you've ever seen - rarely works.
