Pros

Brand recognition. Social impact on consumer health (though that is diminishing)

Cons

Toxic culture. Lack of trust has become a cancer-starting from the top down (CEO loves to see people working long hours for no known reason, praises anyone who constantly says “yes” to her, talks negatively about employees she doesn’t like, sometimes in an effort to push them out.) Clique-y.

Pros

The customer service is ok

Cons

You are brought in with big sells of the benefits, obvious fertility and maternity perks, and culture of work life balance in a slow but growing company. You are met with lies and egos in every corner. The CFO regularly talks about how well things are going and they are truthfully going ok on the sales side, but I am there and it's fake. The new CCO has no idea what she is doing and to make it worse the entire client success team is failing to deliver because they also don't understand the business and we get sidebar pulled in to keep things afloat and not lose more customers. It's a nightmare for any rep and no one hits numbers. It is not only sales. The entire leadership team turned over but the 2 worst ones in tech and HR. The few really good people are leaving at every level too. Even the best and most important person on the product and sales teams left and you can feel the bleeding. The same in marketing. Same in legal. Same in operations. Same in recruiting even. My whole team is miserable and planning to leave and even make bets on who will leave first on other teams too. All the other negative reviews are 1000% accurate #quietquitting #progyny #carrot #kindbody

Feels Like I'm Stuck

Pros

free lunches 2x a week and good office location compensation is decent

Cons

The company had a round of sudden layoffs with no hint that this would be happening. While I'm thankful to still have a role, I contemplated if being laid off (with severance) would have been a relief. The culture is very toxic as many people have previously said. There is no courtesy for people with limited bandwidth as work metrics and projects increase with no additional compensation. I would caution anyone interviewing or contemplating applying for this company to think twice. Team morale is insanely low, especially after the election when most teams had to come in office. You would think empathy would be shown to encourage those to stay home or not take meetings. Lastly, diversity is lacking, little to no flexibility with hybrid policy and PTO is "unlimited", yet somehow you feel pressured to not use it.
