Pros
mechdyne is a dynamic place to work there are many areas to get involved in from engineering to sales to service and software. There is lots of opportunity to traveling meet new people with team mates and customers all over the world. The benefits are good and the culture sets high expectations for people. This is not a place for everyone, some people want a place to punch in work 40 hours and go home, this isn't the place. The team works hard and that hard work in combination with the ability to move forward with that earned effort will take you lots of places at Mechdyne. I like the one on one attention I get and the feeling I can talk to anyone and get an honest answer.... No politics at play here. Managers and exec can ask hard questions when it comes to financial decisions but the company has done really well so, maybe that's the right approach?
Cons
travel is tough if you have a family that needs you at home. If you want to just do the basic effort you will not survive. Communication between locations is hard sometimes and that can give some feeling of independence.
