Pros

This is a company who truly lives out their core values and it is refreshing to see in today's society. Great to feel you are contributing to the company and working with all levels of teammates in the company. Benefits, profit sharing, and 401k are great. Mechdyne also has monthly socials for teammates where they recognize the good things going on in the company and teammates who are performing well.

Cons

Can sometimes feel stretched thin during busy times.

Lots of vacation, profit sharing, 401k, lots of overtime for hourly employees, Fun place to work, everyone knows everyone, you can travel and see the world, you get to work with some really cool technology

Cons

Lots of travel, Have to work a lot of overtime, Lots of stress, Deadlines are often unrealistic

Pros

Mechdyne has some really innovativeand technical people. Previously the focus was on delivering high end and complex AV systems but the scope has broadened to general AV and enterprise wide technologies. Mechdyne is seeing substantial growth particularly in the Oil and Gas Market as customers are looking for higher quality and well supported systems. Its good to have readily accessible support within the company to assist with customer concerns in both IT and AV. All systems are fully staged and tested prior to being delivered so there is a noticeable difference in quality for customers and less stress onsite for the team.

Cons

Headquartered in Iowa and really the center of the Mechdyne world. Not as large as the big AV companies who can receive larger discounts from manufacturers and sometimes offer lower prices.
