Fine at store level

Pros

Management at my store was helpful. Staff at my store were cool. Fairly easy to pick up new position quickly.

Cons

Upper management don't care about you or your achievements, you could have the biggest sale in the whole company and you wouldn't even get an email. Upper management would not train anyone yet would be upset if someone didn't know how to do something only they knew how to do. Pay structure changed and shorted individuals tens of thousands of dollars. Attempts were made to squeeze people out.

Pros

You might want to work here if you want to spend time sucking up to and making fake friends with the wannabe ballers in your community.

Cons

Your success is measured only by sales, but sales are not supported by proper inventory management, reasonable pricing, sensible promotions, or help from upper management. There are not enough breaks. Nobody who works here seems to care very much. Each and every employee is just trying to sell a few suits to make a buck on their check. Also, with COVID out there, who wants to be reaching around people with measuring tapes?

Pros

At the end of my time, my coworkers were the only silver lining to this cloud.

Cons

Men’s Wearhouse has been sinking since 2014, but the pandemic has completely destroyed the company. Be prepared for unexpected furloughs, barely any inventory, an overwhelming amount of customers, being severely understaffed, no lunch breaks, staying hours past your scheduled time, and working every weekend. If you’re customer focused, be prepared to disappoint. Orders will go unfulfilled and wedding parties will not be able to get everything they ordered.
