      Pros

      Great Employee purchase plan. Can be fun at times.

      Cons

      High pressure from senior management. Store performance is looked at under a microscope on a daily basis. Gruelling hours during the holiday season.

      Retail Sales is Great, Tuxedo Rentals...Not So Much

      Pros

      George Zimmer has cultivated a great atmosphere under which to work. The mission statement actually includes the phrase "to have fun." Wardrobe Consultants are well-trained by managers, and objectives are clearly defined. Anyone who does their job correctly and produces is treated quite well.

      Cons

      The growth in the tuxedo rental business has brought a new type of customer to Men's Wearhouse...the customer who expects something for nothing. The typical MW customer tends to be courteous and willing to build a relationship with the staff. The tux rental customer is rude and quick to complain. Stores experiencing growth are lacking the staff to support such growth, which results in great frustration for customers and MW employees.

      Pros

      Family setting. The upper management of the corporate level care about the employees. The company spends a lot of money on employee training and they send all the managers to a manger's meeting CA.

      Cons

      The pay should be better. The company can be slow to change sometimes. They are cutting pay like all companies are these days.
