Pros

Good coworkers. Nice new office.

Cons

Constant downsizing and rehiring. Stability is not the best. Reorganizations every 12 months or so. The mission is only for patients not employees. Profit is all that matters to leadership.

Pros

Safe conditions, diverse workforce, employee discounts.

Cons

Strict attendance policy. Agree the merger with Bon Secour has changed the culture of Mercy Health. I'm just a receptionist, yes, but I overhear dozens of conversations from providers, managers and coworkers. Morale is down. Feel like a number. No longer a local health system but a cog in the wheel of a chain, with people making decisions who know nothing about our community.
