      Pros

      Annual continuing education stipend, seven paid holidays, clean facilities with excellent state and JCAHO compliance. Consistent referral source from the physicians in the Mercy Health system.

      Cons

      There is little to no opportunity for career advancement. Very minimal annual raise in hourly rate and it has been an across the board (nurses, PT, OT, MA, EVERYONE) percentage the past two years (and it's not enough to keep up with cost of living) and no performance incentive.

      Pros

      At the Mercy health, I am a lifeguard and I have been very well treated there. I have found that I am always given time off it is needed and as long as i can find someone to cover my shift. I have also found that it is almost a family like experience to work along side them.

      Cons

      I do not receive optimal pay for my position and at times feel pressured to work more than i think i should.

      Pros

      Your fellow employees are good people. The majority of the patients are nice.

      Cons

      Management only cares about money. The mission statement is a joke. I will never work for Mercy again.
