Store Discount is about the only good thing about this job

Cons

There is too much pressure from corporate, being talked down too constantly, not being given breaks, raises are a joke, just a overall horrible company to work for. The store is constantly understaffed, which puts more pressure on the people their to work faster. They don't look out for their employees or try to help. They have managers who are childish and have no professionalism. Corporate needs to start doing better and hire better managers if they want their stores to be better.

Pros

I got a dollar more than minimum wage. You don't need any previous job experience. I got a 4 cent increase every year. Fun place to work if your into crafts and DIY.

Cons

Training was awful, I was shown 3 transactions by a manager, watched over during 2 of my own transactions, then expected to be ok on my own. A lot of other employees were late or absent and I was expected to stay later for my shift or even completely cover their shift on the spot. No room for promotion. Expected to work on certain holidays.
