      Pros

      Not much of bureaucracy, good office. Technology-wise it is a mixed bag - some new ideas are tried and built on top of the legacy code, which is at times not well engineered. It is a company of one single product. Pay-wise it is OK after IPO.

      Cons

      Actually there are fair amount of them, I would largely support another reviewer "Don't get hired as a developer". Some of the management are promoted from software engineers and posses no management experience hence no alignment with company values, no visible attempts to create proper teams. It is clique as well. It looks like there is fair amount of "underpaid" legacy (people who failed to leave).

      Pros

      Mimecast is quite proactive in a lot of the right areas - from looking after its employees wellbeing to keeping them informed about what's going on in the company. The people are great overall - pleasant, professional and dedicated. It's also just a bonus to work for a company that is doing well in terms of reaching its goals.

      Cons

      The company is in that slightly awkward 'teenager' state, where much like a human teenager, the growth spurt is causing some pain. It's well-established and highly successful but still growing very rapidly and finding its adult groove is causing the usual growing pains - finding the right balance between process and red tape and maintaining a young, agile feel.

      Pros

      Great CEO with a dedicated executive team. Huge focus on Customer Success. Great culture. No egos. Customers seem to really like the product/platform and they will hopefully love where we are headed.

      Cons

      Keeping up with the market's high growth expectations and ensuring keeping our tight knit culture will be the challenge for the next 1-2 years.
