A technology-enabled company that changes the lives of so many. The leadership team cares about their team and even sent flowers when a family member passed away.

Cons

The work can be fast-paced, and the processes can change quickly. There is some burnout based on workload.

The tech system is built in a way to easiest update the claim and clients. The tech is very advanced and constantly targeted towards better adjusting to the case managers needs (although only after focusing majority on the intake department)

Cons

Management doesn’t care enough to even listen to what you’re telling them about a case to be able to give a realistic or correct answers. Lawyers give inconsistent advice on what to do and what legal actions can or should be taken. One day you’re told to file an appeal even if the client says not to the next you’re told that’s illegal and we can’t do that??? No benefits. You only get overtime if you’re socially liked at the moment by management not actually based on work need. When you slack managers or lawyers for legal or case assistance you’re often waiting days to weeks for an answer while the client is upset with you. Lawyers tell clients they will call them for hearing prep and will miss appointments regularly which leads to us catching more backlash and having to cover over and over again
