Pros

Tech-driven company culture with a remote work option.

Cons

Upper management rushed too fast and hired staff who did not possess a thorough and adequate understanding of how Social Security disability works and were only focused about curating a large "customer base." There tended to be a lot of drama, miscommunication and disagreement amongst upper management which negatively affected staff morale. Their main goal was to file as many online initial applications as possible, leaving the rest up to the case managers to figure out on their own. There was a lack of basic procedure and technology to adequately support the case managers, which resulted in a lot of stress, confusion, and unnecessary extra work. Furthermore, they advertised themselves as a firm who helps those with mental health conditions *only* so the pre-qualifying requirements were very basic. The intake team was pushed to submit as many apps as possible, which inevitably resulted in a lot of weak, baseless claims and inaccurate and/or missing information on the clients' applications.

Pros

Tech-driven company with a remote work option.

Cons

Management was only focused on obtaining a large client book as quickly as possible. The intake team was pushed and incentivized to submit as many applications as possible, which inevitably resulted in a lot of weak/baseless claims and inaccurate and/or missing information on the' applications. Because their main goal was to file as many initial applications as possible there was very little meaningful support or technology. While it is a "tech-driven" company with in-house development, the technology was not designed with actual case management as the primary objective, but rather managerial and sales tracking. This created a lot of stress, as case managers did not have the tools to properly track and work their files, many of which were weak claims with exceedingly difficult clients. There also tended to be a lot of miscommunication and disagreement amongst upper management. It is evident that upper management has no experience or real grasp of this practice area.

Pros

I genuinely love working here. The company truly cares about our employees and clients, and it shows in everything we do. The culture is positive, supportive, and team-oriented, making it a great atmosphere to grow both professionally and personally. I’ve learned so much and have been able to grow with the company, something I’m very grateful for. It’s a blessing to be part of such a mission-driven team.

Cons

Nothing worth noting. Every workplace has challenges, but the leadership here listens and values feedback, which makes a huge difference.
