There is very limited parking in the Somerville office, and only way to get a parking spot for the day is to use a parking App and make a reservation the day before you go in to the office. Half the time someone else at the company takes your parking spot, and you have to spend time "slacking" the Boston office folks to figure out who took your parking spot. Also, I never thought about the quality of a companies bathrooms before, but these bathrooms at Mirakl are in really in poor shape. For instance, the men's restroom door will not even close all the way, which is odd because the bathroom has such a small footprint and most people prefer a bit more privacy when using a restroom. I cant speak for the women's restroom, but assume its as outdated and neglected as the men's.

The most political, hierarchical, poorly run company – too cheap to invest in people/infrastructure so calls itself a startup, and demands its top performers kill themselves for a below market salary. Lack of direction at the top, which leads to confusion for internal teams & customers. Leaders are often multitasking during meetings and consider employee engagement & enablement a low priority. Feedback is solicited, but the full set of results are rarely shared or actioned upon – so it’s clear Mirakl does not see their employees as an asset.
