Cons

Lack of growth/mobility within. Even members of the company who join at the bottom struggle to move up.

Pros

Creativity is rewarded, amazing people to work with and learn from, open line of communication with management team. The culture is demanding of perfection and if you can deliver you will learn a lot. I would work here again for sure. This is not your "average" BDR role. You will go to work every day thinking critically about how to best serve your prospects and help them solve the most important problems facing their business. If you want to learn a ton and really push yourself-this is the place to be. My favorite part of working here is that you can be yourself at work- you don't have to tone it down or change to fit a "standard."

Nearsighted vision, politics and lack of trust

Pros

- Growing company where you can have an impact and learn, but only if you're in the right team with the right manager. - Technology is good, if employees invest time to understand how to sell / use it and the customers are willing to adapt to it.

Cons

- The CEO cares mostly about acquisition, not the longevity and success of the customers. - The Management Team in the US is often made up of individual contributors, not leaders. Politics is more valued than hard work, which leads to lack of accountability and trust. - This is a French company who forces the French model on Americans and does not customize their approach to American customers/needs. - Salaries are way below market rate compared to other US-based Software companies All of that results in a nearsighted vision where people don't feel valued, don't trust leadership or HR (a political team, not a neutral team who has employees interests at heart), and customers are not the priority.

Mirakl is a hyper-growth company and things move quickly. Management works hard to provide a clear line of sight to the short and long term vision for the company but if you ever feel 'in the dark' don't hesitate to ask. We want you to have the answers you need to succeed here at Mirakl. As you have seen, no question is off limits during Mirakl keynotes and town halls. Please, ask away. Our customers' success is our top priority. If they are not successful, Mirakl is not successful. It's as simple as that. In the first half of 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Mirakl-powered Marketplaces generated $1.2B in GMV. This was such a proud moment for the company as it showed the power of Mirakl's technology, the importance of the marketplace model, and our dedication to our customers during a tempered global economy. Today we continue to scale our customer success team rapidly across the globe to ensure our customers have the support they need to thrive. And listen, being part of a culturally diverse and global company isn't for everyone. And that's okay. Perhaps this isn't the right environment for you. For me personally, I really enjoy the elements of French culture - especially the 25 days of vacation :). Mirakl is proud of it's French history and proud to have started in France. We are equally proud to be expanding rapidly across the globe. But rapid growth is bound to be bumpy at times. The key is that we identify areas for improvement together, find solutions and build a better tomorrow.
