Pros

Work from home, good trainers, the people in the training group were great and it was nice to meet such great people in training.

Cons

Micro management , hostile work environment, retaliation, singled out due to being in the emergency room , be littles you by trying to make you own what they think of you for instance they told me I was a slow learner and also that I knew i was struggling but at the same time told me that it was ok, and that they are invested in you etc totally plays games with mind! DO NOT CALL IN SICK DURING YOUR 90 days even if your on your death bed they will find every reason to try and push u out or fire you! They tell you that it’s a case by case basis but even when I was triaged for covid 19 and had a asthma attack and a contagious virus I was told if I didn’t come back I would of been terminated… the doctor told me and excused me for a couple days but I went back to work sick and they kept using my Illness against me.

Pros

Health benefits are great and the insurance plans are cheap. No experience needed. Work from home. Most positions are Monday- Friday with set hours.

Cons

There is a steep learning curve, but once you know the material the job is not challenging and is actually extremely repetitive. They do not do background checks, several employees have criminal records. Some employees are very childish and take out their frustrations with rude callers by putting them on long holds/ time outs. Most reps get yearly raises of less than 2%. High turnover rates due to burnout. From time to time you will have to work mandatory overtime. No one truly prepares you for open enrollment. The healthy moda culture you may see from the outside is not felt on the inside. Coworkers can be toxic, especially if you are recognized for doing well.

Pros

Downtown Portland location is convenient. Nice views from the tower.

Cons

Nepotism seems rather common as many employees are directly related, and many are in senior positions within their respective departments. Many (but not all) are sort of mediocre and lacks any charisma, which is sensible in that most the work is unfulfilling. Attempts at "workplace culture" have a sterile impersonal and corporate feel to them.
