Pros

Very casual workplace and really great camaraderie. The women in the Fox building overall are stunning.

Cons

Utterly clueless management. Seriously. I doubt these folks could find their way out of a paperbag with a map, flashlight and a gps navigator. Any sort of hard work is essentially frowned upon. It's far more important that everyone feel no one is offended. For the most part this place is the blind leading the blind and dumb and dumber. You couldn't get fired from this place if you sent Tom fecal matter. Major shifts are made apparently without the slightest thought of the ramifications. Upper management is wholly isolated from those of us in the trenches. Information on available products is often out of date, incomplete or just plain wrong. Products will be discontinued and not communicated out to the selling team. Promotions is based solely on how much keister you kiss, ego you stroke or how great your breasts look. Pure cronyism. Some of the hardest workers I've known there get lambasted for their efforts or looked over for a promotion.

Pros

The work environment is nice with casual dress and flexible hours. It is a nice place if you want to just chill and collect a paycheck.

Cons

Management and co-workers have low competency and drive. When issues occur management is more concerned about pointing the finger and covering their asses than fixing the issue. Employees have no visibility of company strategy, and have to rely on reading tech blogs to discover company news.

Pros

Has the collegiate and exciting feel of a startup, with the financial stability of a large corporation. Although quickly being surpassed by Facebook in user relevance, MySpace still has the cool factor of being one of the first best-of-breed online content providers in the nascent social networking space.

Cons

Lacks the necessary vision to push the envelope in its social networking industry niche, and lacks upper management support to turn that vision into innovation. MySpace was once the leader in both social networking and advertising within social networking. Sadly it has fumbled its opportunity to remain best-of-breed through its lack of product innovation and foresight into long-term product strategy for both users and advertisers.
