Pros

Lovely people at the individual contributor and team manager level Collaborative environment Good project management and customer service experience Good development opportunity for new grads/early career or new to SaaS

Cons

Low Pay - company shares that it benchmarks salaries with third party provider, but perhaps the calibration has room for improvement. The leaders responsible for setting the salary bands may not have a full understanding of the demands of the job and skills required, as this feedback of low pay is consistent on many reviews here, as well as among current staff. Implementation Manager salaries seem to be significantly below market, and turnover has been quite high as a result. In the past 5 months, a good number of my colleagues have left for roles paying significantly more than NAVEX. Benefits are just ok for SaaS. There are no healthcare plans with fully paid premiums. With company being remote, there are no home office setup stipends or personal development/wellness stipends that other companies may have. Interdepartmental communication has significant room for improvement. There were multiple times where Implementation was not kept informed of important changes that impacted our interactions customers. Work/life balance used to be ok when I started, but has not been good recently. There is pressure to meet your performance metrics while being overloaded with projects. It's nearly impossible to get everything done in a normal work day, causing many to regularly work well over 40 hour weeks.

Bare minimum effort to stay afloat

Pros

--Location of office building makes for easy commute from I-5 or 217. --Relatively flexible schedule depending on department.

Cons

--Compensation is extremely low across the board in Lake Oswego. You'll be paid significantly less than someone with the same title and responsibilities down the street. Claim ‘compensation research’ all you want, but take an honest look at all the reviews which mention this as a major grievance. --Revolving door turnover across the company. Most employees are in their first 6 months or have been there for 6+ years. The few caught in the middle are actively looking elsewhere. --Culture is a strange, jumbled mess. NAVEX wants to be a hip, trendy software company without putting in any of the effort. Office is bare, kitchens empty, events are sporadic and often scheduled days before the end of a sales cycle. No effort is taken to check or develop culture other than the annual surveys that are blatantly ignored --Upper management has a bad case of being an old-fashioned boys club. Take a look at the executive team. --Benefits are horrid, and management knows it. You can sugar coat it all you want, but a plan with no means of a deductible lower than $1500 isn't competitive. --Overall company morale is exceeding low. Most feel undervalued, overworked, and burned out.
