Pros

- Time off flexibility (unlimited for exempt professionals) - Co-workers are really great - COVID plans pretty clear - Access to leaders - Entry-level job movement Co-workers were great, I was very sad to leave the team. Time off was very flexible when I needed it. Usually couldn't get through all the time offered off because of deadlines/projects or coverage from the team. Good work-life balance if you remember to take the time off. When COVID happened the company started doing more town halls and communicated about what measures they were taking. Senior Leaders at the company were pretty accessible and friendly. People that start at entry-level seemed to move up if they put in the work and followed the politics. If they start at lower pay they wouldn't get a substantial increase because of company caps on raises when transitioning jobs.

Cons

- Low Pay - No Promotions - Annual review cycle very unclear and not transparent - Politics (People terminated when they go against the grain) - Benefits have improved but still not great I Initially started at the company at a lower pay so I could gain experience and was told I would get a potential increase after 6 months in, that didn't happen nor did a conversation about it happen. During my annual review, I was increased 1k and told that was a competitive rate for my "compa ratio". Transparency around compa ratios and the review cycle were never clear. The next several years were the same story. I was at a high compa yet several people on my team were offered promotions and raises. I took more and more on yet nothing changed. I asked specifically about getting promoted and it was "we'll see how things go". People consistently didn't know when the annual review cycle was happening, what they were rated at, or how it all worked until after everything was said and done and you got your eval. How do you make a case for yourself when you don't know when things are happening? When COVID hit they froze promotions/salary increases yet people have still been promoted. Other employees would tell me stories of their bosses or someone going against the grain and the next thing they knew they were getting terminated due to lack of work or the job being eliminated. Lot of emphasis on culture and values but not sure they were really lived into. Internal training programs seemed to be busywork, you would come up with fixes for issues at the company but nothing was implemented. Leadership training hardly happened. More companies are being bought yet there are a lot of inefficiencies still happening and duplication of processes. Benefits used to only have one plan now there are two.

Thank you for taking time to be candid about your experience at NAVEX Global. As so many people consistently call out, the people are truly special and committed to doing amazing things together. I'm disappointed to know you and others are unclear about our review cadence and we will look at ways we can better call this out through our onboarding process and internal communications that have historically highlighted our timelines. I do want to clarify that the investment we make in leadership training is significant and a program that is offered every quarter, if not more often. I will ensure we continue to look for ways to expand awareness of our learning programs - your feedback definitely helps clarify where we can do more. Thank you for the time you gave to our team at NAVEX Global. I sincerely hope you have found a new role you love! Best, Cindy Raz

Pros

The flexible schedule is great. My manager never micromanages my time and trusts me to get my work done, while also ensuring she supports me how I need it and schedules weekly catch ups. I love my teammates and appreciate that the company works hard to put on events to bring people together from other departments. There are optional games and prizes monthly to make it fun and to interact with other groups. It's exciting to be part of a growing company that has such a strong product offering in the market. To me this means a lot of room to grow professionally, both in keeping up with the fast paced environment, but also in moving up and into other roles as opportunities open up. Leadership is transparent and the CEO hold regular Town Halls to ensure we all know where we are and what our goals as a company are. They invest in the learning and growth of the people in the company.

Cons

As some have mentioned, they pay isn't the most competitive, but it's not out of the range of reasonable.

Pros

Work-life balance, Ability to work remote

Cons

Company only really cares about the Home Office in Oregon, compensation sorely lacking, benefit options are antiquated, lack of advancement opportunities, no outside training or certifications
