Pros

- Company really cares about employees - I feel like I get respect and my opinions are heard by my team/management - 3 weeks PTO - Xbox/foosball table in break room - Nice, brand new building close to restaurants and other shops (Five Guys downstairs) - Company is successful and growing, and there are lots of opportunities for growth within the company

Cons

- Pay could be a bit better, but is decent for the area - Wish the healthcare benefits were a bit better - Would be great to have access to training materials - other teams like Product Engineering have access to PluralSight, but it would be fantastic if the client support team had access to that as well as many people starting out in this position are beginners. We could use it to study SQL, Windows Server management, SAML/SSO, etc. as we need to understand these things on a basic level as well - I could be wrong, but I don't know think NAVEX offers to pay for things like getting a Master's degree or certifications. Getting my Master's is important to me but expensive.

Dear NAVEX Global Team Member, I could not agree with your more - providing opportunities for people to learn and grow is absolutely one of the most important steps we can take on many levels. Expect to see more efforts on this front in 2019, including additional partnerships with universities for members of our team wanting to advance their education! Thank you for sharing your experience - I am so glad you are with our team and having a positive experience. Please keep your feedback coming - we are listening! Best, Cindy Raz SVP, HR & OD

Pros

Great atmosphere, people are pretty chill overall... The trainers are good and actually care if you “get it” or not. Everyone takes their position very seriously and the majority of the employees there are older and keep to themselves. For a call center, there was no real drama from what I could tell.

Cons

They are super strict about being punctual. No excuses are acceptable. If you’re late twice, you’re fired. Period.

Dear Former NAVEX Global Team Member, Thank you for letting our team know about our trainers in the Call Center - they do work hard to support our newest team members and care a lot about ensuring people are prepared to take on their new roles! You are also right - schedules for people holding roles as you did are strict given the service we insist our customers are provided. Our attendance policy does not separate someone for being late twice and if this was your experience, I welcome the chance to visit with you to learn more about your specific situation. I hope you've found a new role you love! Best, Cindy Raz SVP, HR & OD

Pros

I have only been with the company for a couple of months, but I am LOVING it. The Implementation team has the DREAM culture. My manager is everything I want in a boss: supportive, motivating, always available to help with a smile. She works hard but makes it look effortless because she’s such a pro, and she embodies the companies values perfectly. My co-workers are all extremely talented, intelligent, fun people. I love going to work every day because I’m surrounded by people who bring out the best in me. It’s fantastic! I love that we have standing desks and the opportunity to work from home every once in a while. The work/life balance has been great so far, although I don’t have a full workload yet. It’s taking some getting used to not checking my work email obsessively when I’m off, but it feels incredible. There are always fun activities going on and we often have catered food. The space is just awesome, HQ is well-designed AND comfortable.

Cons

The biggest con for me would be the benefits. I had to go to the doctor recently for a check up, and it cost me $175.00 which is NOT affordable under a NAVEX Global salary. I prioritized culture over benefits in my job hunt, but I’d say if the benefits don’t improve in the next couple of years, I’ll have to look elsewhere, especially as I start considering starting a family. Also, the executive is almost exclusively white men, which is a huge red flag for me. It’s not that it’s a small team, either, there’s something like 15 people on it. It certainly causes me to question my long-term growth in the company as a woman. I would think diversity would be important to a leading company in the ethics and compliance industry. That was very disappointing to see in my first-day orientation.

Dear NAVEX Global Team Member, It is great to hear you love your manager and are having the overall type of experience we would hope for! You are spot on - diversity must continue to be a key priority and it is true that our health care is not ideal for everyone. If you would like help learning how to better manage your health care expenses, please give our HR Team a call as there are several steps you can take that will help minimize costs. Thank you for your candor and letting us know what we need to keep doing and affirming where we need to work harder to improve the experience for each and every one of our team members!
