Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m glad to hear you worked with some good colleagues during your time here, but I’m sorry that your overall experience did not meet expectations. Feedback around turnover, career progression, and cultural stability is important for us to hear. We set high expectations for the experience people have at NAVEX, and when that experience falls short, it’s something we need to understand and learn from. One of our core values is Embrace Candor, and candid perspectives like yours help us see where we need to do better. We continue to evaluate how we create clearer growth opportunities and a more consistent experience for our employees. I appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you the best in your next chapter. Best, Cindy Raz Chief People Officer

Pros

Talented, hardworking individual contributors who genuinely care about the product and customers. Fully remote work remains a strong benefit. Good work-life balance if you’re able to ignore ongoing uncertainty. Some managers still try to shield their teams from chaos as best they can. Solid learning opportunities earlier on, especially pre-acquisition.

Cons

Company direction has shifted heavily toward cost-cutting over people and product quality. Frequent layoffs and outsourcing have severely hurt morale and trust. Constant reorganizations and “transformation” initiatives create confusion and instability. Increased workloads for remaining employees with little recognition or compensation adjustment. Career growth feels increasingly limited despite higher expectations. Leadership messaging often feels disconnected from day-to-day reality. Decisions feel reactive rather than strategic, with short-term financial goals prioritized over long-term sustainability.

Pros

NAVEX is a good place for SMB or mid market sellers as they have great brand awareness and the product is sufficient for basic compliance needs. The company also has talented teams that support sales (sales engineers, legal, CS etc.)

Cons

Below average pay. The product isnt sticky with larger organizations because its lacking innovation. Attainable commission for those hunting for net new customers, challenging to upsell as several of theb products are not as strong in the marketplace. Every year I was there the commission plan got worse. Very formal step program to get raises. After my first two raises they then changed the criteria for me to get a sr title and continue to get raises.
