Pros

Team is great.

Cons

No room to advance and substandard pay. If you are at the top of the salary range they set for you there is no room for advancement or raises. This leaves no incentive to work hard, improve or learn.

Depending on the department, some of our positions have clearly delineated potential for advancement and for others it could be more open. However, all NAVEX Global employees can benefit from our growth. Ours is a learning environment and we pride ourselves on being an organization where entry-level or experienced employees have the opportunity to excel and take on new challenges. Furthermore, it is NAVEX Global’s goal is to ensure we are competitive within the market with regard to pay, commensurate with experience.

Pros

The company has been able to expand their services through M&A of competitors and adjacent companies over the last few years so there are few direct competitors. There is a good bit of potential for being a really good company due to the pieces that have been collected. Vista equity has invested heavily into growing the company. Even though they're "fattening the cash cow" as quickly as possible so they can sell and wash their hands clean.

Cons

The recruiters definitely oversell the earning and upward mobility potential. Specifically for the entry level sales executives and account managers. Their is no plan for advancement. Top performers at the entry level DO NOT make six figures. Even at 100% to plan. The base pay of $50k sounds reasonable until you realize all of the responsibility and expectation that is placed on the Sales "EXECUTIVES". I use use word lightly because there are people in this role with little to no relevant experience. The only reason that the middle and senior executives make six figures is because their bases are $25k &$40k higher respectively. The training program has went through a complete overhaul in the past two years or so, however it is still grossly insufficient. There is more focus on how to talk through power points, leave voice-mails, and Google search other companies rather than how to uses the extremely complex Salesforce platform that has been custom built over the past few years. Many people have had terrible experience with the trainers being condescending and rude. The majority of sales managers/VPs were simply successful sales reps or "in good" with the right individuals so although they get paid gross amounts of money in comparison to other employees, it's not because they are growing or helping other reps progress forward in the company. There is no path to progression in the company. Rather than hiring top performers from within, the company continues to hire mid level and senior level executives. This is likely one is the reasons to the high churn rate. Overall this is not a company that does what it takes to ensure their employees are growing and feel more than expendable. I’m sorry to read of your negative experience and thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. The salary information that our recruiters share in the hiring process is accurate with regard to both base and commission potential. Also, the opportunities for advancement that we speak of exist and recently we’ve seen the promotion from Account Manager to Account Executive as well as other internal promotions in the Sales organization. However, along with hiring from within when there are qualified candidates, we also seek to hire top talent externally, as both of these practices help strengthen our organization. We are listening to your feedback and would not want anyone to be met with sarcasm or condescension for “Saying it.” The ability to openly discuss what works or what doesn’t is important for our success and I have shared your comments with our Sales leadership.

Pros

The office looks nice. The employees are friendly.

Cons

Management is very unorganized. No real direction, they bring out new initiatives all the time with no follow through. The motto is "not my problem" Very 1980's sales culture

Thanks for your feedback. I have shared your comments with our Sales leadership. Working in Sales is going to be a high pressure job in any organization but it's not the intent of the team to motivate by fear.
