Pros

- Some managers and team members are supportive. - Good place to gain experience early in your career.

Cons

As a junior member of staff, it’s been really difficult to get proper support from HR. The HR representative is often late to work, takes long lunches, and during the day their office door is usually closed, which makes them feel unavailable even during normal working hours. When junior staff go to HR for advice or clarification, the response often feels reactive instead of helpful. Rather than feeling supported, it can feel like blame is being assigned for asking questions. That makes it uncomfortable to raise concerns or ask for guidance, especially when you’re still learning. HR should be a people partner and someone staff can approach openly. Right now, that’s not the experience many of us have.

Dear NAVEX Team Member, Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I have forwarded your post to our HR lead for EMEA-APJ so they are aware of your feedback and can prioritize being more visible for you and all of our team members. I also hope you will consider connecting with this leader directly regarding your concerns. You have some important points that need to be heard and sharing feedback directly with the person at hand is the most impactful and respectful method. If you try this route and do not have success connecting, please know I welcome the opportunity to visit with you personally - you're welcome to grab any open spot on my calendar. Thanks again for sharing your feedback - we are listening. Best, Cindy Raz Chief People Officer

Pros

The CS team was great to work with, and a lot of other departments were as well. Leadership seemed genuinely supportive of my career growth whether that was with NAVEX or somewhere else. Lots of autonomy to get your work done the way you want to do it, and work-life balance is considered extremely important. I was pushed to take more vacation by multiple managers during my time.

Cons

Compensation for CSMs is relatively low compared to the industry, yet there are increasing pressures to generate more opportunities for the struggling sales team. Leadership doesn't always hold other teams (i.e. sales) accountable wen issues arise, instead directing ICs to focus on doing their own jobs well and to allow others to make themselves (and the company) look bad. That's not how issues should be handled.
