Pros

If you're in product engineering the hours are pretty decent. Rarely will you work over 40 - 45 hours. PTO benefits are really good with four weeks off.

Cons

This used to be a great place to work. The company cared about the employees, there were social events, and benefits were decent. After being purchased by a private equity firm that started to go downhill. Private equity firms want to "pump and dump" and that's what is going on here. Benefits have been chipped away at (reduced 401(k) contribution and higher employee contribution to health benefits with worse actual benefits are two examples). Very little opportunity for growth (training budget might buy you a few books but you won't get to go to any training or conferences). And don't get on the wrong side of management or HR because they'll throw you under the bus at the first opportunity.

Pros

The sales team/individual contributors are hard working and good to be around. Sales management is another story.

Cons

Sales leadership is void of management skills. Bean counters and completely unaware of how to motivate. The stick is the only tool of choice. Can't sell there way out of a bag so why should they lead.

Pros

Coworkers are friendly and easy to get along with, snacks (e.g., cookies, cake, fruit) are often provided

Cons

Leadership in the Beaverton call center does NOT represent diversity very well. All of the Beaverton call center dispatchers are white, and only one of them is female (note: a dispatcher is one level above an intake specialist). Furthermore, almost all of the Beaverton call center supervisors are also white; there is only one supervisor who is not white (note: a supervisor is one level above a dispatcher). The health insurance premiums have increased, but the coverage has decreased. In addition, the company's contribution to employees' 401(k) is now only half of what it was in the past.
