Pros

Excellent culture, great team environment and open communication! I'm trusted within my position and not micro-managed. There is flexibility in my role to work-from-home occasionally. We're fed often and a lot of fun events take place throughout the year.

Cons

Due to the layout of the office, most departments are segregated so it doesn't have an open feel.

Pros

Great team work & cross team support Strong leaders Decent hiring practices

Cons

Wildly opaque promotion practices - people are hand selected and jobs created rather than jobs being posted Company has made a huge deal about their new Management Training initiative, with comments about "things you won't have learned in college". Whoever designed the program doesn't really understand the current demographics of the company. As the company has grown, the leadership has remained largely static and aged in place. The people being hired aren't new grads anymore, they're people who seem 'young' to 50 year-olds - so mid-30s and -40s. Programs for 'what you didn't learn in college'? Completely worthless as a development program to this population TERRIBLE vacation policy in the Services organization

Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts and for your candor! I did want to share that the majority of our hires do come to NAVEX Global with less than 3 years of experience in the field for the role in which they are applying. As a result of our multiple acquisitions over the past few years, we also have managers without previous experience that we are committed to developing through the management training program. I also want to let you know that career planning was not abandoned in 2016, however performance reviews were. We absolutely do need to do a better job at ensuring people have clarity around their career path and this is why we are continuing to invest in our Learning & Development function, which will include the release of additional new programs this year. If you would like to learn more about the ideas in motion and provide input on whether you think we're heading in the right direction, I would love to hear from you! Best, Cindy Raz
