Pros

Learning financial discipline and learning to thicken ones skin.

Cons

Developing one's career is not a plausible strategy at NTGR. Survival is the only strategy as an employee will not be empowered at any point, though attrition creates promotion opportunities. Use NTGR as a way to learn tight financials and rigor, then move before becoming institutionalized. NTGR is not unlike North Korea - isolated and insular, with a CEO who makes decisions at the paper clip level and routinely abuses his employees. A true despot in a business sense.
