Inexperienced people in management positions

The hospital continually has the wrong people in management positions. I had a horrible manager that was mean spirited, talked bad about nearly everyone and she had the nerve to wonder why people didn't say hi to her or hold conversation with her. She's IS passive aggressive, extreme micro-manager, everything has to be done her way, she's isn't smart enough to realize that there is more than one way to get to the same end result. My position has had high turnover and leaders turn a blind eye. When I would return from a day off, I was always coming into snarky and rude emails over the stupid things, making assumptions instead of asking me first. I'm not the only employee who feels this way about their manager, there are several people who have made similar comments about their manager. Happy employees makes for a successful business!
