Pros

There's nothing good to say about Meritas Health, that said, I've made some wonderful friendships.

Cons

They do not care about their employees. AT ALL. They offer no flexibility. They don't pay well. There's no sick time. There's nobody that will advocate for their employees, They go by a very rigid 'point' system that takes no consideration for events in peoples life outside of work. There's no breaks given during an 8 hour shift, other than a 30 minute lunch. Any overtime is frowned apon. HR is an absolute joke....just to name a few.

Pros

You will never lack for work. There are paid holidays off. Overqualified and well educated staff.

Cons

Understaffing hurt employees and patient care. The company has a strict inflexible attendance policy. When they didn't allow advancement or lateral shift in positions to new locations the reasons weren't given. Reviews were given in such a way to minimize a raise (glowing positive review but one point under for a pay raise). Raises didn't keep up with the increase in health care provided by company.

Terrible place; bullying environment

Pros

Willing to Hire new MA’s with no experience.

Cons

Management supports and participates in a bullying environment. They know that they are in the wrong when they have to close their eyes to scream at you in their office.
