Pros

Wonderful mission and employees who care about each other. Most of the leadership team are really talented, compassionate and respectful. There are opportunities to stretch and grow myself.

Cons

Some of the challenges are typical in high growth companies -- lack of systems and processes. But some challenges feel self inflicted, and all about the leadership approach of a few senior leaders in operations. While these senior leaders talk about caring and having a heart, they are incredibly dismissive and make people feel like they are not people but just cogs in a wheel and expendable. With one side of their mouths, they will talk about heart and caring, and the other side of their mouths, they'll diminish contributions and belittle people. In most meetings reviewing work, the entirety of the time seems spent picking apart every detail -- the "did you consider this... did you think of that..." and after an hour, it's a quick, "I have to run to my next meeting." It's a pretty selfish way to show up. It's exhausting and not very motivating. In who gets promoted or even hired to visible roles, the emphasis is on who's the smartest. This starts from the top. There's no heart. It's robotic or inauthentic.

Pros

1. Most staff within hospitals were very pleasant. They appeared to have genuine care of the animals and did the best they could with limited resources. 2. Flexible schedule for a manager. 3. Discounts on products and services. 4. If you are in a role that upper-level management cares about then you will experience slightly better treatment.

Cons

1. Disappointingly unprofessional upper level management. 2. Training is not sufficient and it is a baptism by fire situation from the start. 3. Very unsanitary and poor conditions but that doesn't matter if it hits the bottom line. This was vocalized. 4. Most locations I came in contact with would definitely not pass a safety inspection. 5. Gossip with employees personal information such as pay, medical conditions, disciplinary action etc to other peers.

Pros

Employee relations are usually good. Good benefits. Good atmosphere among clients and employees. Easy to get help with software and computer issues.

Cons

Very low supervision of management. Allowed our hospital to hire a manager with no managerial experience whatsoever. Made things very personal and very unprofessional. Standoffish. Further proving why education and or training is necessary. Would often forget very simple requests. Would leave you hanging with no one to help out.
