Pros

Decent base salary (assuming your hospital sees enough clients) We started with a good team within the hospital. Of course, management ran them off :(

Cons

Management within the hospital is terrible. Childish, immature, in it for themselves. Not to mention incompetent. Regional management is even worse. Will not step in to correct their mistakes.

Pros

NVA allows you to be you. They take the culture of the practice prior to selling and give you new tools to help you be a better YOU. If my hospital did not become part of the NVA family than I feel I would not have had the opportunities that I have now. NVA allows me to learn, grow, and be a better manager.

Cons

NVA is growing exponentially so sometimes it is hard to know who to reach out to for everything but you will always be directed to the right person/department.

Pros

Each hospital gets to determine their own medical protocols and culture which keeps are individuality and clients happy. We can operate with knowing we have a safety net with the support center to help us with IT, HR and any other crisis we encounter. We also get the benefit of vendor discounts due to the large purchasing power which enables us to get better equipment and practice best medicine.

Cons

A little more red tape with large purchases compared to private practice; however, the budget for larger purchases is much bigger. During the last growth period, division management was stretched too thin; this has been rectified with a stronger division management team.
