Pros

Upper management has a wonderful vision for pet care.

Cons

Area Managers are spread way too thin. There was little support to ensure success in local market. Managing Veterinarians are too hard to deal with.

Pros

Flexible - you run your own hospital the way you want to for the most part, all hospitals have their own culture and different leadership style. Lots of freedom to set your own goals and achieve them to earn bonuses. Nice to have a team of managers to network with.

Cons

Upper management doesn't always follow through, as many hospital managers are not getting their raises or any communication/answers/help when needed. Pay is below the standard 3%-4% of gross but there are a lot of people taking a slice of the pie with an area manager and a division leader too.

Pros

Motivated team of individuals - everyone worked for the good of the company, not just individual goals.

Cons

Emoloyees within each department tended to stay more social to their specific dept, rather than branching out and trying to integrate amongst other departments...very silowed.
